Olympic Games." I find an official announcement of the trip but, as of 2026-02-09, I have not found independent, dated confirmation (photo, readout, speech transcript, or social-media post from
Helberg or @UnderSecE) showing he attended Milan events or publicly participated in Team USA celebrations during the Milan portion (Feb 9–11). Several reputable outlets reported on the Milan opening ceremony (Feb 6) and Vice President Vance's presence there, but Helberg was not mentioned in those event reports. Because the projected completion date is 2026-02-09 and on that date evidence of his attendance/participation in Milan is not yet publicly documented, the claim remains in_progress; it may still be fulfilled later in the Feb 9–11 window.
