DSCA’s mission is to advance U.S. national security and foreign‑policy objectives by building partner capacity and managing U.S. security cooperation. It is the Department of Defense’s lead for the security‑cooperation enterprise and provides policy, management, and oversight for programs that train, equip and finance foreign partners (including administering the Foreign Military Sales program and other security‑assistance authorities enacted under U.S. law).
